Jordanian Cabinet Faces Simmering Trouble Jordan's Cabinet is dealing with a series of problems that threaten the kingdom's stability, despite a reshuffle late last month that saw the expulsion of a number of ministers who had been described as "crises-makers," the Beirut-based influential daily AN NAHAR reported on August 22. "There is some sort of unanimity in Amman that Prime Minister Samir Rifai's Cabinet does not need more enemies," the newspaper said in an Amman-datelined report. "The Cabinet as a whole and its ministers as individuals have more than enough enemies," it added.
